Today was a  special day, my brother Bernie turned the big 1-3 (thirteen).  After we all sang “Happy Birthday”, I took him to Hardee’s for a big, juicy cheeseburger.  It was 23 degrees out, but I rolled the window down so he could feel the wind blow through his hair.  When we got back, I cut the burger into bite size pieces, locked Maizy & Daisy out of the room, and let him eat his special birthday treat in peace.  He had that thing gone in 10 seconds!

Bernie is a great dog…he whines a little, but we all have our quirks.  Like everyone else, all he wants is a little love, some attention, and 3 hots & a cot.
